Digital citizenship

The Bring Your Own Device initiative is one that will enhance student learning in the classroom, create opportunities for relevant student collaboration and creativity, and teach them digital citizenship.  An important element to remember when considering the utilization of current and future technology tools is how to utilize them in a responsible, productive way.  Students will be taught how to be a productive, responsible digital citizen as well as be held accountable for this.

DIGITAL CITIZEN ATTRIBUTES:

• On task and focusing on the assignment given
• Visiting appropriate, relevant websites
• Utilizing technological tools for the purpose they are intended (producing, collaborating, communicating academically, etc.)
• Adhering to copyright laws and academic integrity expectations
